During 19th to 22nd, April 2013, the trainees from Shanghai, Gansu, Guangdong, Henan, Zhejiang, Qingdao, Weihai, Yantai, Taiwan, Philippines, Australia and Uruguay participated in the eleventh QTG at the Xueyuan Hotel of Qingdao Technological University.

QTG is referred to as polyurea training course of Qingdao Technological University。 It was founded in 2009 by China's polyurea technology founder ― Professor Weibo Huang. It has been held 11 sessions up to now, and cultivated a large number of professional and technical personnel for the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway, Qingdao bay bridge, Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao bridge and other national key protective polyurea engineering projects. As for this QTG training, it made an deep impression on trainees with five innovative aspects:

Firstly, the training course introduced the performance of Qtech pure polyurea material in detail, the data showed: Qtech pure polyurea material could resist by 25,000 hours of artificial accelerated aging to keep rate above 95%, and became immortal hundred-year materials; otherwise, the high density polyethylene material in artificial accelerated aging after 6,500 hours, the surface was severe pulverization suffused with white, and it became brittle material from the ductile material.

Secondly, in the training class, Prof. Huang demonstrated the dangers of fake polyurea and summerized 9 kinds of method that people could fast identify the true or the fake of polyurea. He pioneered the use of pure polyurea to guarantee the quality of constructions.

Thirdly, he foucused on introducingto the two new equipment manufactured by the United States PMC (original Gusmer, card and horses) PHX 20-40 and PHX - host, and AP - 2 gun. Fifthly, “One Day Tour of Qingdao Pure Polyurea Projects” organized trainees to visit Qingdao pure polyurea jobsites and natural scenery of Qingdao city by bus. The visited jobsites were: Color steel tile roof restoration project of Qingdao Olympic Fitness Center, Anti-leakage project of Qingdao Funing Memorial Five Lotus Ponds, Anti-leakage project of Laoshan Xiaowang Reservoir, Pure polyurea project of potable water channel of Qingdao Shuyuan Reservoir, Pure polyurea protective project of pile cap of Qingdao Jiaozhou Bay Bridge. All trainees said exclamatorily: Qingdao is deserved to be the birthplace of polyurea technology in China, and Qingdao Technological University is worthy of being the bulwark of defending pure polyurea technology.
